Privacy & your data
What we store
To create a chart or reading we process birth details (date, time, and place) and, if you have an account, your email. Birth details and email are personal data. We treat them as such.
Someone else's birth details
A compatibility reading involves a second person's birth data. You must have their consent before entering it — we ask you to confirm this, and record that confirmation with a timestamp.
Encryption at rest
In production, Starduet runs on a managed PostgreSQL database with storage-level encryption at rest. Birth-data columns are additionally candidates for application-level encryption as a hardening step.
Your rights
From your account you can export everything we hold about you as JSON, and permanently delete your account — a true hard delete of all your birth profiles, readings, and orders.
